MOTORSPORT EXPOTECH: MORE THAN 7000 VISITORS - NEXT APPOINTMENT SET FOR 2010
The Italian professional motorsport exhibition closed today at ModenaFiere with more than 7000 visitors (attendance up by 10% compared to the last edition). Sector experts and international delegations were very satisfied over the high technical-scientific level of the conventions and the quality of exhibitors
The second edition of the international Motorsport ExpoTech convention-exhibition at ModenaFiere closed today: the two-day event exclusively for motorsport trade operators on Wednesday 14-Thursday 15 October was held in the exhibition halls of ModenaFiere.
More than 7000 Italian and international sector experts visited the stands to meet exhibiting companies and take part in the impressive calendar of meetings, conventions and workshops held over the two days. This second edition of the event, in short, was characterised by the high technical-scientific level of the conventions and seminars and the quality of exhibiting companies, which presented the very best in innovation, technology and design in the motorsport field. Emphasis must be given to major international attendance, with exhibitors not only from Great Britain - thanks to the by now consolidated partnership with MIA Motorsport Industry Association - but also from the United States, France, Sweden, Spain, Korea, Germany and Austria, as well as visiting delegations from Russia and Dubai.
The two days of work involved reports by specialists ranging from technologies for special competition vehicles through to nautics and the aerospace sector, thereby creating an ideal place bringing supply and demand together. This edition of Motorsport ExpoTech coincided with the difficult world market and economic situation but managed to instil visitors with optimism and a number of signs of recovery. The overall facts and figures this edition confirm the central role of this exhibition and its international relevance. Attracting leading Italian and international companies in the sector to Modena is the first opportunity for Italian motorsport to create a "system" and promote the field in a unitary and coherent manner on an international scale.
